Residents are reminded that despite efforts by our Strata Council and your diligence, mail theft continues . It now appears thieves may have access to keys that not only open the Canada Post mail boxes but our secure cages as well.
A couple residence have been notified by Canada Post that thieves may be targeting our boxes again and posing as a Canada Post employee. Some of these thefts have occurred in day light hours with select mailboxes targeted as not not raise suspicion. The suspect may be driving a silver Mercedes SUV which was captured in a video by a nearby neighbour.
Below is a link for the most recent video capturing thieves in another complex. It is not known whether these suspects are related to the Mercedes or not.
