Attached are the final tip sheet packages provided by the BC Crime Prevention Society to wrap up Crime Prevention Week:
Day 4: Youth Engagement– Young people are the future. One day the “young people” will be the “adults” and society leaders.
Day 5: Safety on Campus– While safety and security is a priority for schools, everyone plays a role in keeping the learning environment safe and secure.
Day 6: Senior Safety– Statistics show seniors are the least victimized group for most crimes, however, many seniors list “fear of crime” as one of their biggest concerns.
Day 7: Digital Citizenship – Being a good digital citizen is more than knowing your way around the web, it is about safe and responsible use of technology.
