As mentioned last week due to the result of the CORIX settlement we will be holding the AGM the second or third week of May – we will keep you posted immediately when this date has been set. Due to the effect this will have on our new budget it is necessary for us to hold the meeting at this time which is later than usual. Thank you for your patience as we work through this important negotiation. It will be worth the wait!
The Landscaping Committee did a walk through on April 17th of the entire complex and we want to acknowledge so many of our ownership who have taken such pride in their yards to ensure they are kept in such amazing condition. We noted so many improvements since the last walk-through and also wish to acknowledge Vista Landscaping for the great job their team have done in keeping our environment in such optimum condition! We do have an amazing community that makes all of us look so great! It was a pleasure to see the improvements that have occured.
We wish to remind our ownership of a few important items/issues:
- The Tree division of the City of Surrey has advised us that old dead potted plants and Christmas tress must not be dumped over the fence into the park area. This endangers the park environment. On our walk through evidence of this happening has occurred.
- Please do not allow your pets to dispose of their body wastes in the yards of other owners. It is required that you pick up these wastes in your own yard and do not allow your pets to dispose of their wastes in any other owners yards out of respect for your neighbors and their lawn area.
- It was noted that some ares between our units have bikes; lawn chairs and other material stored. Please remove such items and keep the areas between units free of clutter. Ensure nothing is over your window wells.
- Continue to seek approval for all common property improvements using the proper protocol as outlined in our by-laws.
