As most folks are aware, there is a development plan by the City of Surrey to widen 160th St from 32nd Avenue to 26 Avenue. This project will have a significant impact on our complex as well as other Stratas in the area for a whole host of reasons which Roger Morin (Wills Creek Strata President) has outlined in his last Council Corner message, See Link http://www.willscreekcommunityforum.com/councils-corner/

Your Strata and representatives from other neighbouring Stratas met on Oct 2nd to discuss the impact to this area and we are all in agreement this project as designed is flawed and needs to be revisited. To demonstrate our opposition to this plan moving forward in its current state, we are gathering names for a petition to present to the City in an effort to stop this project until further public consultation can take place. Tom Jones or other representatives of Wills Creek Strata will be doing a door to door canvass over the next few days to get your support and have you sign the petition. If you are not going to be home and still wish to support this important cause you can contact Tom directly by email jones34582@gmail.com and he will arrange to meet you at a more convenient time.

In addition to the petition, you can also complete the attached form and forward to GCorda@Surrey.ca

Your support is important and appreciated.
