1- Our Surrey RCMP Volunteers recently conducted a Lock Out Auto Crime audit at the South Surrey Park and Ride:
- 55 vehicles failed- most common items seen: garage door remotes and gps/dash cams
- 105 passed- yay!
2- There were a total of 11 Break and Enters between July 30 – August 5
- 5 residential ( Grandview Heights x 2, Elgin, Ocean Park, Douglas/Peace Arch) * in 3 of these files entry was gained via unlocked door *
- 5 commercial ( Sunnyside x 3, Campbell Heights, Elgin)
- 1 other ie. construction site (Elgin)
3- There were 4 vehicles stolen from South Surrey between July 27 – August 5
- 192nd / 36th Ave
- 138th / 22nd Ave
- 124th / Crescent Rd
- 148th / 33rd Ave * Has since been recovered *
