Surrey RCMP are looking for witnesses to a fatal motorĀ  vehicle collision on July 4th.

 

On July 4, 2015 at approximately 4:30 pm , Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a two vehicle motor vehicle collision in the 17000 block of 32nd Avenue. A red SUV was travelling westbound on 32nd Avenue when it collided with a dump truck that was travelling east bound on 32nd Avenue, . The subsequent collision resulted in the vehicle SUV sustaining extensive damage.

The male driver of the red SUV has been pronounced deceased at scene.

Alcohol and speed have not been ruled out as contributing factors in this collision. The incident is still under investigation.

32nd Avenue between 168 and 172 Avenue is currently closed and will be for an extended period of time as the investigation continues. The Surrey RCMP urge motorist to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
