Vehicle break in at neighboring block watch community

LOCATION: 16159 28a Ave
DESCRIPTION OF CRIMINAL ACTIVITY:
During the evening of Saturday, August 29th the vehicle parked in the driveway of 16159 28a Ave was broken into and the owner’s garage door opener was stolen. The garage door opener was well hidden but the thieve(s) managed to find it.
Given nothing was stolen except the remote, it is possible the thieves will attempt a return trip to the residence when no one appears to be home. Please keep your eyes out for anything that appears suspicious in the area and “Observe & Report”. Crime in progress is 911, suspicious activity is 604-599-0502.
If you also had your vehicle broken into that evening, no matter how small please call the Surrey RCMP non-emergency number at 604-599-0502 as well as me to report the incident.
