On Saturday August 15th, sometime between 10 pm – Sun 9 am, a resident ‘s car was entered while pared in the driveway and a number of items stolen including $400 in sunglasses, an iPod plus the garage door opener. Since there was no damage to the vehicle, it is possible the vehicle may have been left insecure. The incident was reported to the RCMP and the resident has taken precautions to change the garage code.
Residents are reminded to ensure your vehicle is locked even if parked outside on the driveway. If you see any criminal or suspicious activity, please call the RCMP immediately and report.
