Problem: Fisher Paykel Oven will not heat. Possible cause convection element burnt out, or Limiter Thermal switch burned out if oven was recently self-cleaned.
- Solution: If element burnt out – It will need to be replaced. (new elements can be purchased on line for ~$200). If the oven was recently cleaned using the self-clean function, depending on model chances are the Limiter Thermal switch is burned out and requires a service call to replace. This switch will continue to burn out unless the clock module containing a flash micro-controller that controls all oven electrical components is replaced. The service calls to replace either component is very expensive. Fisher Paykel will not stand behind their product or acknowledge this defect since most of these ovens are at least 9-10 years old.
- Note: If you are experiencing problems with you appliance, it is highly recommended you contact a qualified technician for repairs.
