Just a reminder to owners to keep their vehicle doors locked and garage door openers hidden. Last night we had two vehicles broken into which were parked on the street on the 3109 side of complex.
Thieves smashed the windows and in one case only stole a charging cord. Please ensure there is nothing visible to tempt thieves. People with addictions will steal anything that can be converted to cash. Even a hand full of change on the console will be enough to attract thieves.
So keep in mind a few dollars in change could cost you $300 or more depending on your deductible to replace your window. Please take the time to theft proof your vehicle.
